Our aims:
1) To raise awareness
of green issues among Goldsmiths students and Lewisham residents.
2) To campaign with the Lewisham Green Party to get more Greens
elected in Lewisham and in London.

Rayyan
Mirza, GoldsmithsYoung Greens Co-Chair and Politics student.
"I
joined the Green Party after doing an internship with them
and seeing at first-hand that they were the only political
party in Britain with an ethical and practical approach to
not just the environment but to all major political issues."

Hannah
Bullivant, President
of Goldsmiths Students Union:
"I
have always supported the Green Party but joined them after
what I saw them do locally in Lewisham to defend local shops
and services. They campaigned against the opening of a new
betting shop in my area and to prevent the closure of a local
swimming pool. The Green Party offers real and practical solutions
not just to climate change but to other issues like housing
and education."

Farrah
Zaman, English literature student at Goldsmiths:
" All
the main parties talk green these days, but it is only the
Green Party that has sustainability at the heart of its policies
and puts people and planet before the interests of big business."

We organise a
